Artisanal Maxi Sweater Dress

This labor intensive, timeless masterpiece came into existence because of my need to create art that could be worn. Ergo, the genesis of this truly one-of-a-kind versatile, maxi length sweater. It was hand knitted then enhanced by adding abstract design accents by means of free style surface crochet. The process was akin to painting on a handmade textural canvas. The result? My beautiful, convertible sweater or dress. Shown in black amidst a sea of colorful specs of teals, yellows, and oranges. Not to mention the numerous hours spent adding the vibrant habanero orange onto the hand knitted fabric. Truly a work of art, and a labor of love. Draped with one of my scarves, hats, and mittens or without them is the ultimate winter must have. My tribute to timeless Haute Couture Knitwear.
